Real Madrid’s confirmed lineup for today’s match against Rayo Vallecano in LaLiga EA Sports
There’s no revolution, but there is rotation at Vallecas. Asencio and Brahim are new additions.

Real Madrid faces Rayo Vallecano this Sunday at 10:15 AM, closing out this run of matches before the international break. Due to the importance of bouncing back from the defeat at Anfield, there won’t be a complete overhaul, but rotation is expected. Asensio and Brahim will start in Vallecas. Camavinga will leave his role as a ‘false right winger’ to take up Tchouameni’s position, while Valverde will continue at right-back.
Trent’s starting spot was anticipated, but he will have to wait. Fede, also eager to return to midfield, starts again at right-back and will be accompanied by Raúl Asencio, the standout in the back line, along with Huijsen and Carreras. Militao gets a rest after playing significant minutes following his return from injury.
Camavinga is also a new face in terms of role. Although he played against Liverpool, he has switched positions. He will no longer occupy the hybrid right-wing role he abandoned in the second half, and will instead play alongside Güler in Tchouameni’s position after the Real Madrid number 14 suffered an injury in his left leg.
In attack, Brahim takes the right-wing spot. The competition for this position is wide open, and the Malaga native will look to make a statement, with Bellingham behind him and Vinicius on the opposite flank.
Movement between players is expected, including Güler, who frequently interchanges positions with Jude. Leading the attack will be Mbappé.
Thus, the lineup Xabi Alonso is set to field against Vallecas is: Courtois; Valverde, Asensio, Huijsen, Carreras; Güler, Camavinga; Brahim, Bellingham, Vinicius; Mbappé.
