Premier League star threatened at gunpoint, soccer agent arrested
An unnamed figure has been taken into custody in the aftermath of the incident, which reportedly took place in London in September.


A soccer agent has been arrested after a Premier League player was allegedly threatened with a gun in London.
BBC reports that police have arrested a 31-year-old soccer agent on charges of possession of firearms with intent, blackmail and driving without a license. He has not been named but reports suggest that he represents a number of top players, including at least one England international.
The alleged incident took place in the British capital on September 6, with police called at 23:14 local time following a report that an individual had been threatened with a firearm.

The player involved has not been named for legal reasons but is thought to be in his 20s. His club have been made aware of the situation.
The accused has been bailed while the Metropolitan Police continue their investigation into the incident. In the United Kingdom, illegal possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence carries a sentence of up to ten years in prison.
