Jude Bellingham faces Real Madrid crossroads as moment of truth arrives

A month after returning from surgery, the moment of truth has arrived for Jude Bellingham and Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso. It’s easy to picture Alonso racking his brain, searching for the ideal role for a midfielder who thrives on space - space to move, to burst forward, and to arrive in dangerous positions. Those same open lanes that made Bellingham a sensation two years ago now seem harder to find.

If he manages to blend his dynamic game with the explosive talents of Mbappé and Vinícius Jr., Real Madrid could become unstoppable. If not, Bellingham risks stagnating and slowing the meteoric rise that once made him the envy of European soccer.
