Tigres secured a crucial road win in Pachuca, defeating the Tuzos 2-1 and solidifying their position among the teams with a direct ticket to the playoffs. The victory also snapped a long-standing drought for the club - they hadn’t won in Hidalgo since the Apertura 2014.

Chivas hold on to play-in spot, Pumas drop out

Despite their loss to Querétaro, Chivas remain in eighth place, which currently grants them a play-in berth. Meanwhile, Pumas suffered a setback at home in Ciudad Universitaria, falling to Atlético San Luis. That result propelled the Potosinos into tenth place and a play-in spot, while Pumas slipped to twelfth - outside the playoff zone for now.

Battle for the top spot intensifies

Club América climbed to second place in the standings with a win over Puebla, reaching 30 points. Toluca, meanwhile, drew with Tijuana and now sit atop the table with 32 points. Monterrey’s Rayados are close behind in third with 30 points, keeping the pressure on Toluca in a tight race where just two points separate the top three.
