Full UFC 322 fight card: fight order and times beyond Della Maddalena vs Makhachev

Islam Makhachev, after a stellar run in the lightweight division – where he made five successful title defenses to surpass the record of his mentor and close friend Khabib Nurmagomedov – has decided to take on a new challenge at welterweight. The Dagestani champion now aims to dethrone Jack Della Maddalena, who captured the belt from Belal Muhammad and will be defending it for the first time.

But Makhachev isn’t the only fighter with double-champion ambitions. In the co-main event, Weili Zhang, one of the most dominant champions in the promotion, will move up from strawweight to challenge for the flyweight title. Waiting for her is Valentina Shevchenko, a long-reigning queen of the division. Both aim to join the elite club of UFC fighters who have conquered two weight classes.
