Update:

Dana White is the man behind the massive success of Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). Along with the Fertitta brothers, he purchased the UFC for $2 million in 2001 when it was on the verge of financial collapse and transformed it into a multi-billion dollar, globally popular sports enterprise.

White is also the face of MMA and is the promoter of the UFC, instrumental in legitimizing mixed martial arts and moving it from a “marginal, scorned discipline” to a major mainstream sport.

The 56-year-old is known for his brash, hands-on, and charismatic personality and leadership style, which has made him a recognizable public figure often featured in the media and on broadcasts but under his leadership, the UFC’s valuation skyrocketed, and he is recognized as an extremely successful American businessman and promoter.

‘Not political’ White

Dana White’s appearance on “The Skinny Confidential Him and Her Show” podcast seems to have focused primarily on business, success, mindset, and health, according to the episode description.

However, White also expressed a strong desire to distance himself from politics altogether, calling it “gross” and “disgusting.”

He has publicly clarified that his support for Donald Trump is based purely on their long-standing personal friendship and that it does not equate to an endorsement of the Republican Party or politics in general. He stated that he wants “nothing to do with politics” moving forward.

However his claims fell on deaf ears with many citing his numerous donations to Donald Trump, the Republican Party and a number of right wing American causes with one social media account offering a breakdown of every donation made by the UFC head since 2011 which does little to his recent ‘not political claims’.
