Which NFL teams have a bye week in Week 8?

NFL bye weeks come around every season, a time in which each NFL team has a week off from competition that gives players and coaches a chance to recharge and reset.
As you might expect, these weeks are hugely beneficial for both players and coaches. The former group use the downtime to recover physically and mentally while the latter often spend the break at their office desks, reevaluating strategies and adjusting game plans.
Here’s how the bye week system works: for the 2025 season, bye weeks span from Week 5 through Week 14, with no teams off in Week 13. The number of teams resting varies each week, with as many as six taking a break at once (which comes this season this week in Week 8).
Here are the teams which have a bye week in Week 8:
Detroit Lions
The Lions can rest easy after their MNF win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Jared Goff and the offense are looking good while the defense is getting the job done.
Las Vegas Raiders
The Raiders are 2 - 5 and are sitting at the bottom of the AFC West. The bye week comes at a perfect time to help them figure out how to spark the offense and get some points on the board when they come back in Week 9 to face the Jacksonville Jaguars.
SHOULD THE #RAIDERS TRADE FOR #BROWNS ROOKIE QUARTERBACK SHEDEUR SANDERS…?

Sanders was a 5th-round pick by Cleveland, is only 23, and won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award.

Los Angeles Rams
The Rams are 5- 2 and tied at the top of the NFC West with the 49ers and Seahawks. The rest week comes at a good time for them as they face conference rivals 49ers and Seahawks after taking on the Saints in Week 9.
Arizona Cardinals
The Cardinals got off to a quick start this season with two wins in their first two games, but have sputtered since, losing their last five straight games. Injuries have hurt with QB Kyler Murray out with a foot injury and RB James Conner also on IR.
Ok so here's the thing. If Jacoby Brissett can do this off the bench and make it look this effortless, one thing is now officially clear:

Kyler Murray officially should not be the starting quarterback for the Arizona Cardinals in 2026.
Seattle Seahawks
Like conference rivals Los Angeles Rams, the Seahawks, also 5-2 get a break this week. Sam Darnold has been playing well and the Seattle defense is one of the best in the league.
Jacksonville Jaguars
The Jaguars are in second place in the AFC South, two games behind the mighty Colts. Trevor Lawrence and the rest of the team can use a week off to regroup after playing in London and two straight losses to the Seahawks and Rams.
