Taylor Swift is giving fans a new reason to tune in to her highly anticipated docuseries, “The End of an Era”, and this time, it’s all about what happens behind the scenes, including intimate moments with fiancé Travis Kelce.
Swift drops new trailer for docuseries on Disney+
On Thursday, November 13, Swift debuted a fresh trailer on Good Morning America for her six-part Disney+ series, which chronicles the record-breaking Eras Tour. The trailer offers fans a rare look at rehearsals, run-throughs with tour guests like Sabrina Carpenter and Ed Sheeran, and private off-stage moments with Kelce, showcasing the couple’s personal connection amid the whirlwind of her tour.
“This show created a bonding experience for like 70,000 people all at once. There’s something very special about that,” Swift says in the trailer. “My main goal is to give something to the fans that they didn’t expect.”
Following the GMA debut, Swift shared the trailer on Instagram with the caption: “Honestly can’t think of a better way to celebrate my (almost) birthday than to relive the Eras Tour with you! This time we’re going backstage.”
Fans had already seen a first trailer in October, which included glimpses of Taylor preparing for shows and sharing a kiss with Kelce under the stage after her “Midnights” set. But the new trailer deepens the behind-the-scenes experience, highlighting not just the production side of the tour, but personal moments that reveal the dynamics between Swift and Kelce offstage.
When does Taylor Swift’s “End of an Era” docu-series premiere?
Disney+ confirmed that the docuseries will premiere December 12, with the first two episodes dropping that day, followed by two new episodes the next week, and the final two on December 26. Alongside the doc, a concert film, titled “The Final Show”, featuring the Eras Tour finale in Vancouver, will also be released on Disney+ the same day.
Swift teased the series in a heartfelt Instagram message:
“It was the end of an era and we knew it. We wanted to remember every moment leading up to the culmination of the most important and intense chapter of our lives, so we allowed filmmakers to capture this tour and all the stories woven throughout it as it wound down.”
For fans of Taylor Swift, and especially those curious about her relationship with Kelce, “The End of an Era” promises unprecedented access to the superstar’s world, both on and off stage.
