Tom Brady’s studio receives big investment from Fox Sports
Content and marketing studio Shadow Lion was co-founded by the NFL legend, who is now a Fox Sports analyst.

Fox Sports has strengthened ties with Tom Brady, investing in the Shadow Lion content and marketing studio co-founded by the former Patriots star.
Shadow Lion and Fox will now combine on a variety of original films, series, events and other digital content, building on Brady’s contacts and experience within the world of sport. Full details of the agreement have not been made public but Fox Sports chief executive Eric Shanks told The Hollywood Reporter that the deal represents a “long-term” investment.
“Once we met them, it became pretty clear that a partnership with Shadow Lion and Tom could Give Fox Sports, I think, a different gear, a new gear, and as time went on, it became a natural conversation and investment for the long term,” Shanks added.

Links to Brady can be seen in the Shadow Lion programming currently in production. The first project to emerge will be a documentary series on the University of Michigan’s football program, where Brady spent five years in college. Brady will act as an executive producer on the new show, along with former Michigan coach and current Los Angeles Chargers coach Jim Harbaugh.
“It’s extending this Fox Sports experience beyond just NFL games on Sunday,” Brady said of the Fox-Shadow Lion deal. “How do we branch out and continue to tell stories year round and develop original content, original series, things that are behind the scenes that everybody wants to see.
“You find different partnerships with different athletes, different brands, I think it’s just exponential growth. And I’m so excited to have all these things happen in one place.”
Brady is now in his second season as a pundit on Fox Sports’ NFL coverage. The ten-year agreement between the two parties is thought to be worth $375 million.
