These are the most dangerous NFL stadiums: Crime statistics and fan experiences

Update:

According to a recent survey, almost half of fans who have attended an NFL game during the past year have witnessed a violent incident. There is no doubt that crime and violence is on the rise at football games - usually fans fighting or threatening each other, and alcohol is often the common denominator.

Violence at NFL games

Over the past years there have been numerous alcohol-related incidents in and around NFL stadium surroundings.

Fights have broken out in the stands during games - some of them escalating into mass brawls. In September, three men were arrested for misdemeanor assault after things turned ugly during the game between the Cardinals and Commanders at State Farm stadium.

While we are seeing a rise in violence, most stadiums provide a safe environment for families to enjoy the game. But how does the public feel? Sportsbook Review conducted a survey to find out. Related crime data was compiled from NeighborhoodScout.

More than 5,000 American football fans took part in the survey and were asked three questions: Which NFL Stadium is the Most Dangerous? Which Stadiums Are Worst for Women, Children, and Visitors? and to rate their firsthand experiences of crime during NFL games.

According to the results, the Baltimore Ravens’ home M&T Bank Stadium has the highest crime rate with 14,019 crimes per 100,000 residents.
