Update:

It looked like game over. The boos were echoing through Empower Field, the Broncos trailed 19–0 heading into the fourth quarter, and Denver fans were already bracing for another long week of “same old Broncos” talk. Then quarterback Bo Nix did something that will be talked about in Colorado for years. He sparked a 33-point fourth quarter comeback, the biggest in franchise history, to stun the New York Giants 33–32 on Sunday.

Bo Nix leads Broncos’ most unbelievable comeback in franchise history

For three quarters, Denver’s offense couldn’t even get a first down. Flags, sacks, drops...everything that could go wrong was going wrong. But when Nix connected with Troy Franklin for a diving touchdown early in the fourth, something flipped. The young QB found Courtland Sutton for a two-point conversion, and the energy in the stadium completely changed.

The Giants looked ready to close things out after a bizarre 41-yard deflected touchdown put them up 26–8, but Nix wasn’t done. Denver stormed back with back-to-back touchdown drives, including another score from Sutton and a gutsy 18-yard keeper by Nix that gave the Broncos their first lead of the game with under two minutes left.

The defense did its part, too. Zach Allen and Jonathon Cooper combined for a key sack that stopped the Giants’ comeback bid, setting up a frantic final drive. After a controversial pass interference call nearly flipped momentum, Nix calmly hit Marvin Mims Jr. and Sutton to set up Wil Lutz’s game-winning field goal as time expired.

What started as a disaster turned into one of the wildest turnarounds Denver has ever seen. Fans are already calling it the “Te-Bo Nix” game - a nod to the kind of magic no one can quite explain, but everyone loves to witness.
