Update:

In a highly anticipated Sunday night matchup, Jordan Love and the Packers outdueled Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers, 35–25 in Pittsburgh. Rodgers started strong against his former team, but Love led a second-half comeback, finishing with 360 passing yards compared to Rodgers’s 219.

Love beats Rodgers, earns message of respect from former mentor

After the game, the two quarterbacks shared a heartfelt moment at midfield. Rodgers told his successor, “Good game, brother. Love you, brother. Keep balling.”

The message symbolized mutual respect between the old and new eras of Green Bay football, and perhaps a sense of closure on a once-tense transition. Both quarterbacks now have their teams atop their divisions, leaving the possibility open for another meeting down the line, potentially even in the postseason.
