Update:

The Baltimore Ravens are in desperate need of a boost and they may have got one in the form of a return from injury for Lamar Jackson.

The two-time NFL Most Valuable Player has been out for a month after suffering a hamstring injury. In the two games without Jackson the Ravens have slumped to 1-5 and they need a rapid improvement if they are to make it to the postseason.

Fortunately Baltimore were able to welcome back Jackson to full practice on Friday and he now looks like a possible for Sunday’s game against the Chicago Bears.

ESPN reports that Lamar Jackson will likely be listed as ‘questionable’ on the injury report. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh refused to confirm whether Jackson would start but admitted that it is a possibility.

“We’ll see where we’re at going forward,” Harbaugh told reporters on Friday, when asked about Jackson’s status.

“I just think we’re going to talk about it as we go and figure out what we got to do to try to win the game,” Harbaugh said. “I mean, that’s really what we’re going to try to do. What’s our best opportunity to win the football game on Sunday? Where does everybody stand? Including [Jackson].”

Jackson had also taken part in team practice on Wednesday and Thursday, but only in a limited capacity. In the past two games veteran backup Cooper Rush has started in place of Jackson but he has struggled as starter, recording five turnovers and zero touchdown passes in two games. If Jackson is unable to start, it will be Tyler Huntley to step in at quarterback.
