Not a body builder or a model, this is what DK Metcalf says he would be if he wasn’t an NFL player
The Pittsburgh Steelers traded for DK Metcalf and brought in Aaron Rodgers looking to beef up their roster for a Super Bowl run in the upcoming season.

In a world full of physical specimens and superhero physiques, one man stands alone in the NFL. DK Metcalf has the most imposing, most superhero-esque body in the league, but he says if he wasn’t a football player, he wouldn’t have the body that is fit for a magazine cover. In fact he says he’d be a “fat ass.”
DK the “freak”
After six seasons in Seattle, Metcalf was the first order of business in the Pittsburgh Steelers busy offseason as they try to build a contender for their all-in season. Metcalf is a two time Pro Bowler, and who has registered 1,000 yard seasons in three of his six NFL seasons.
Metcalf came into the league with an NFL ready body out of Ole Miss University. His arms are like pythons, and his abs are something that Michaelangelo wouldn’t have dared sculpt because they are too supernatural. Heading into the Draft in 2019, Sport Illustrated called him and “absolute freak,” and looking at his picture coming into the combine you can see why.

Since then, his body that had less than 2% body fat has evolved and if you could imagine become even stronger and more imposing than he was in the picture above. The most incredible part of this, is his diet. While most pro athletes are on a strict regiment of protein packed regimented meals throughout the day, Metcalf’s meal prep consists of stopping off at a gas station and picking up a couple bags of candy to get him through the day.
Candy for dinner
“I eat one meal a day. Drink one coffee, and eat like three, four bags of candy,” Metcalf told NBA legend Kevin Garnett on his podcast. He then proceeded to take KG through what he had ate the day before. The menu: a coffee, a bag of Skittles gummies and a bag of Lifesaver Creations gummies. Later in the night he has dinner and goes to sleep.

It’s not the prototypical day or menu for a pro athlete, and DK knows that. A couple years ago, he told Men’s Health magazine, “I’m a fat ass at heart. If I didn’t play football, I would not care about my body.”
Luckily for Steelers fans, they are getting an elite pass catcher with a body chiseled from marble. He will be teaming up with new QB Aaron Rodgers and Calvin Austin III at wide receiver as the Steelers look to get back into the Super Bowl conversation.
