NFL icon rages over Bad Bunny Super Bowl decision

The decision to name Bad Bunny as the performer for the Super Bowl LX Halftime Show has sparked plenty of comment from around the world, not all of them positive.

The latest to add his voice to the conversation, legendary running back Eric Dickerson. Now 65, Dickerson played 11 season in the NFL, most notably for the Los Angeles Rams and the Indianapolis Colts.

Through a video published on TMZ, the NFL Hall of Fame member lashed out at Bad Bunny, as well as the league for the Puerto Rican’s selection.

“I don’t even know who the hell that guy is. I’ve never heard of him. I’m not that into music. What’s his name? What the hell does Bad Bunny sing? I don’t know any of his songs. If he doesn’t like the United States, he can stay where he is,” Dickerson said.

Bad Bunny is one of the most popular artists in the world and the Hispanic star will be a big hit at the Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California. However Dickerson has questioned why the NFL has picked the Puerto Rican singer.

The NFL is more corrupt than the government, much more corrupt. They don’t even care about the players,” Dickerson declared. “If Bad Bunny said he didn’t like the United States, he shouldn’t come, he should leave his ass in Puerto Rico.”
