Estados Unidos Update:

Patrick Mahomes has become the new frontrunner for the NFL MVP award, overtaking Josh Allen after the Buffalo Bills’ shocking defeat to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday Night Football.

In Week 6, the Kansas City Chiefs cruised past the Detroit Lions 30–17 at Arrowhead Stadium, led by a brilliant performance from Mahomes, who accounted for four touchdowns – two through wide receiver Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, one via Xavier Worthy, and another on a rushing play by Mahomes himself.

Meanwhile, the Falcons stunned the Bills with a 24–14 win at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. Allen completed 15 of 26 passes for 180 yards and two touchdowns but threw two costly interceptions. The first came on a deep attempt over the middle toward Khalil Shakir, picked off by cornerback Dee Alford. The second came with just 41 seconds left, when linebacker DeAngelo Malone sealed the game with another interception.

Baker Mayfield has climbed to third in the MVP odds after an impressive season, keeping his team competitive despite multiple injuries to his receiving corps.
