“Go argue with your mom”: Saquon Barkley crowns Bijan Robinson NFL’s best cutter

Philadelphia Eagles’ Saquon Barkley is the NFL’s reigning rushing champ after his rare 2,000-yard season. So a compliment from him to another running back in the league means a lot. And he declared Atlanta Falcons RB Bijan Robinson as the league’s best when it comes to cutting in the open field.

Barkley: Bijan’s cuts are next-level

While Barkley was the leading rusher in 2024, Robinson had a breakout season of his own, finishing with 1,456 yards - the third-most among ballcarriers - while also catching 61 passes.

“There’s nobody who’s able to cut like Bijan in the NFL,” Barkley said. “There’s not. You can go argue with your mom about that, I’ll be honest.”

“Trust me, I love myself and I think I have great cuts, and there’s nobody,” he went on. “The way he’s able to... his vision, his agility and he can catch the ball, too. So it’s gonna get scary for a lot of people as he continues to figure it out.”

Robinson entered the NFL as the No. 8 pick in 2023. The former Texas star has quickly become one of the most dynamic dual-threat backs in the league, and may only be scratching the surface of his potential.
