Update:

The Philadelphia Eagles have struggled for offensive rhythm this season but the reigning Super Bowl champions have still managed to get the job done.

Ahead of the Week 10 games Philadelphia sits top of the NFC East with an impressive 6-2 record. In recent weeks the team has suffered injuries to key players but now look set to welcome two of them back for the Monday Night Football meeting with the Green Bay Packers.

The Eagles have removed receiver A.J. Brown and running back Saquon Barkley from the injury list this week. Both players missed the Week 8 game against the New York Giants and were able to rest up over the subsequent bye week for Philadelphia.

Brown’s return to the team will give him a chance to move on from rumors that he was set to be traded before last week’s deadline. The Eagles WR was widely tripped for a move away from Philadelphia but he took no notice of the talk, choosing instead to spend the bye week playing football with his son in the backyard.

“I don’t know. I think it’s the nature of the business,” Brown said, when asked if he expected to be traded. “But my focus was to be present with my family, my kids and get healthy.”

“You can’t focus on it, you know,” Brown continued. “My attention was on my family. Because what’s going to happen was going to happen. I can’t stop it.”
