In the deal, Houston will receive a fifth-round pick and tight end Harrison Bryant, while the Eagles pick up Metchie along with a sixth-round selection.
Metchie now joins the roster of the reigning Super Bowl LIX champions, who already boast elite receivers such as AJ Brown, DeVonta Smith and Jahan Dotson. In Houston, the Canadian-born wideout also faced stiff competition from Nico Collins, Christian Kirk, Jayden Higgins, Jaylin Noel, Justin Watson, Xavier Hutchinson and Tank Dell.
