Did Shedeur Sanders just reveal his future with the Browns?
The Cleveland Browns rookie quarterback sent a mysterious message amidst trade rumors that hints at his future with the team.

The Cleveland Browns enter their bye week at 2-6, coming off a rough loss to the New England Patriots and having lost four of their last five games. Rookie quarterback Dillon Gabriel has struggled, throwing multiple interceptions, while fans and analysts debate whether fellow rookie Shedeur Sanders should get a chance under center.
With the trade deadline coming up on November 4, Sanders addressed growing NFL trade rumors with a subtle but telling message during a Thursday livestream.

When asked if he’d return to Boulder for Colorado’s homecoming, Sanders said he couldn’t because he had “treatment” and needed to “get ready...big ready.” That comment suggests he’s focused on preparing for a potential opportunity with the Browns.

The former Colorado star and son of Hall of Famer Deion Sanders has yet to play a regular-season snap since being drafted in the fifth round of the 2025 NFL Draft. Meanwhile, starter Dillon Gabriel has struggled, throwing for just 702 yards, five touchdowns, and two interceptions across six appearances (four starts), while Cleveland’s offense ranks third-worst in scoring at 15.8 points per game.

Sanders’ lack of playing time has fueled speculation about his future, with reports linking him to quarterback-needy teams such as the New York Jets, Las Vegas Raiders, and Miami Dolphins ahead of the deadline. However, his recent remarks hint that he may be preparing for a role in Cleveland rather than an imminent move.
Despite their struggles, the Browns have a winnable second half of the season. Key games against the Jets, Raiders, Titans, and Bears could secure the four wins needed to surpass their 5.5-win over/under. With a strong defense led by Myles Garrett and a productive running game, the Browns have a realistic path to finish the season on a positive note, though quarterback uncertainty remains a major factor.
