Bills 14vs 24 Falcons summary stats, score and highlights | NFL Week 6 2025

The scoring died down after the Bills TD, as the Falcons defense tightened up. They forced a turnover on downs, and then two three and outs before picking off Allen to seal the game for ATL. 

The Falcons improve to 3-2 with a big win after their BYE while the Bills lose their second straight game after a 4-0 start. 

The Bills knew they got away with one at the end of the half, and came out looking like they had new life. James Cook got more integrated in the run game, and Allen cut into the lead with this TD pass to Ray Davis. 

The Falcons were looking to get into FG range at the end of the first half, but Drake London broke a slant pattern that looked like he was going to take to the house. It was called a TD, but he stepped on the sideline at the 1 with 00:00 on the clock so the Falcons missed a chance to add to their 21-7 lead. 

Bijan didn't just have a couple big runs, he strung together big run after big run, but none were bigger than this 81 yarder that he took to the house. He and London have come on of late, and that is fantastic news for Penix and the rest of Atlanta. 

MIchael Penix was sensational on Monday night, but Drake London was even better. He ended the evening with 158 yards receiving, more than 140 of those came in the first half along with this TD to put the Falcons up a TD on their second drive. 

The Bills responded on their first offensive drive. Allen drove the Bills down the field and found Dawson Knox with a 19 yard bullet for a TD to tied the game up. That would be the last time the Bills were even with the Falcons who turned up the defensive pressure for the rest of the night. 

The Atlanta Falcons had a Monday Night game at home for the first time in a long time, and they treated their fans to a massive win over the Buffalo Bills. Bijan Robinson tied a career high night with 170 yards rushing and over 200 total yards in the 24-14 win. 

It was far from the dream start for Robinson who fumbled the first hand off he got, but an offsides call on Buffalo would erase the turnover. Bijan was perfect from then, Buffalo was not.

It's bad for Buffalo but it could be a whole lot worse. London broke this slant pattern and almost took it to the house with 6 on the clock but he stepped out of bounds at the 1 to take a late TD off the board. 

Bijan Robinson put the early fumble in the back of his mind and he has been sensational ever since. He took this one for 81 yards, breaking through a tackle down the sideline for the TD. He's got 138 yards on the ground and it's been all Atlanta so far. 

ATL made it two scores in two drives with this Drake London TD. He and Penix have been locked in tonight. Penix has 171 yards and a TD on 12/19 passing while London has 147 yards receiving and a TD on 9 catches. 

The Bills responded with a TD drive of their own to start their night. Allen found Dawson Knox to tie up the game but that seems like a long time ago for BUF who have struggled since. Allen s 5/12 for 98 yards with 1 TD and 1 INT. 

Bijan Robinson fumbled the opening snap of the night, but an offside on BUF nullified that. Robinson would correct his mistake, while the Bills continued to make them. Tyler Allgeier capped the opening drive with a 21 yard TD run to put ATL up. 

London on a slant pattern and he breaks it with 6 on the clock and gets all the way to the end zone! It was called a TD but London stepped out of bounds at the one yard line!

Throwback throw down 

It’s always a special occasion when playing on Monday Night Football, but add that to the fact that Falcons and the Bills are wearing their throwbacks from the past and we have a spectacular night of football ahead of us. The Falcons have the old school red helmets from yesteryear and the Bills will be donning the Buffalo jersey circa the OJ Simpson era. 

MVP Odds 

Taking a look at the MVP odds we see Josh Allen at the top of the odds makers board after a 5-1 start. Despite his slip up against the Pats last week, he is still in command but there is a new contender in the mix. Baker Mayfield has been spectacular and with his win over the Niners last week he’s skyrocketed into 3rd place after Allen and Patrick Mahomes who seems to be back on the wagon with the addition of Xavier Worthy. Allen doesn’t have the most yards, or TDs but he’s on one of the best teams in the league, and is playing nearly flawless football. 

Remaining one loss teams 

After almost six weeks of the NFL season, there are no undefeated teams and very few one loss teams. The Bills are one of those teams, for now. In the AFC there are a couple of other teams with one loss. The shocking story in Indy continues as the Colts beat Arizona on Sunday to stay at 5-1. The Steelers have already had their BYE, but they are 4-1 after their convincing win over the Browns and in the NFC it’s just the Tampa Bay Buccaneers who have won five of their six games. How many of these teams are actually Super Bowl contenders? That is a question that remains to be seen.

What’s Cook-ing?

While Josh Allen might be the reigning MVP of the league, this team needs their running back to show up tonight. Jame Cook came into this week as one of the top rushers in the league with 450 yards and five TDs on the ground. Up until the game against the Pats, Cook had scored a TD in each of the previous four games. He had just 15 carries for 49 yards last week, so expect him to get a heavy dose of the ball early. 

Star watch: Falcons

If we are being technical about things, Michael Penix Jr. is still in his “rookie year.” He was drafted in 2024, but sat for most of last year as the Falcons entrusted Kirk Cousins as their QB1 until late in the season. Penix came in for the final few games of the season and was not too far way from leading the Falcons to the playoffs. His numbers haven’t been staggering, but he’s only started seven games in his NFL career. He’s got 918 yards and 3 TDs to go along with 3 INTs, but might be coming off his best game as an NFL QB when he passed for 313 yards, and 2 TDs on 20/26 passing. 

Star watch: Bills

You would expect Josh Allen to have a monster game tonight against the Falcons. He’s back on primetime with the taste of defeat that has lasted the last week and a half. The reigning MVP has found that he doesn’t always need to be Superman to win games, and not even win the Most Valuable Player award. He’s had a whole lot of seasons with more TDs and passing yards than he did last year, but where he is excelling is not making mistakes and not making plays that cost his team the win. Tonight he may be called upon to carry his team to a win against a Falcons defense who have had a two weeks to prepare for him. 

Bills last game 

The Bills hosted the New England Patriots on a Thursday night divisional game from Orchard Park, and it seemed like nothing went their way from the start. It was a low scoring, ugly first half that played right into the hands of the Pats, but Buffalo took a 10-6 lead out of the halftime break. The Pats would score back to back TDs after picking off Josh Allen on the third of three Buffalo turnovers and took a 20-10 lead with 12 minutes to go in the 4th quarter. Buffalo would tie the game up as the offense turned on and scored a TD on a Josh Allen TD pass to Keon Coleman, and then kicked a field goal with 2:17 to go. Drake Maye kept his cool and drove the Pats down the field to set up the winning Andy Borregales field goal with 15 seconds to go to hand the Bills their first loss of the season. 

Falcons last game 

It was the game that Falcons fans had been waiting for a long time. Michael Penix Jr. had a 300 yard game, Bijan Robinson scored a TD, Drake London had another in a 100+ yard game and Kyle Pitts Jr. had a TD and 70 yards as the Falcons finally looked like the team they were supposed to be for the last couple of years. Atlanta went up 31-16 in the third quarter against a Washington team that was without Jayden Daniels at QB, but they ended up having to hold off the Commanders who cut the lead to a TD with under 9:00 to go. Penix built up a long drive that ended with a field goal right after the Two Minute Waring, and the Falcons went into their BYE week.

Hello everyone and welcome to Atlanta where the Falcons are coming off of their BYE week at 2-2 following a win over the Washington Commanders and tonight they look to keep it rolling against a Buffalo Bills team coming off of their first loss of the season. The Bills have been, but it must be said that their strength of schedule hasn’t been the toughest through the first month and some change. Tonight they have a tough matchup against the Falcons who will be looking to hand them their second straight loss.

We have Monday Night Double header to close out Week 6 in the NFL and the early game kicks off from Atlanta in just over an hour. One team is coming off a BYE looking to build on their last win before entering their week off, while another is hoping to bounce back from their first loss of the season.
