Bad Bunny trolls MAGA with fiery SNL message about Super Bowl LX

The Puerto Rican artist delivered a powerful bilingual message on Saturday Night Live following backlash from MAGA supporters.

Bad Bunny responde a las críticas sobre el Halftime Show del Super Bowl en SNL

Barely a week after the NFL announced that Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny would headline the Halftime Show at Super Bowl LX, the decision has sparked outrage among Donald Trump’s supporters.

The “Bad Rabbit” appeared on Saturday Night Live and delivered an opening monologue entirely in Spanish, dedicated to Latinos across the United States and beyond. “Especially to all Latinos and Latinas around the world, and here in the United States there are people who have worked to open doors. More than a personal achievement, this is a collective one, proving that our mark in this country cannot be erased,” the reggaeton artist said.

After the heartfelt message, he switched to English to address his critics directly: “And if you didn’t understand what I just said, you have four months to learn.” The line drew laughter and applause from the audience – a clear jab at Trump’s base, known for its hardline immigration stance.

Kristi Noem’s response to the controversy

In response to the growing debate, Kristi Noem, the US Secretary of Homeland Security, issued a warning to those planning to attend the Super Bowl in San Francisco. “We’ll be everywhere. We’re going to enforce the law. You shouldn’t come to the Super Bowl unless you’re a law-abiding US citizen,” she said.

Noem went on to defend her position with a combative tone: “They suck, we’re going to win, God will bless us, we’ll have a clear conscience, and they won’t be able to sleep at night,” she added, referring to the decision to have Bad Bunny headline the show.
