Aaron Rodgers’ contract details: Salary and years remaining with the Steelers

After Aaron Rodgers’ move to the Pittsburgh Steelers was officially confirmed, questions quickly followed about the deal that finally convinced him to join the franchise – especially after a long period of silence.

Rodgers has signed a one-year contract worth $13.65 million, which includes $10 million guaranteed and a potential maximum value of $19.5 million.

On top of that, the deal also features $5.85 million in playing-time bonuses and team performance incentives.

The four-time MVP completed his physical at the team facility this past Saturday. He’s expected to speak to the press on Tuesday after his first minicamp practice.

During the 2025 Draft, the team selected Will Howard out of Ohio State with the 185th overall pick in the sixth round on Day 3.

The franchise failed to reach an agreement with either of their starting quarterbacks from last season: Justin Fields joined the New York Jets, while Russell Wilson signed with the New York Giants.

In his final season with the Jets, Rodgers finished with a disappointing 5–12 record. He still managed to complete 63 percent of his passes, throwing for 3,897 yards, 28 touchdowns and 11 interceptions – a strong statistical showing after suffering an Achilles tear in his first year with the team.
