NFL Week 8 has plenty of excitement in store, kicking off on Thursday Night Football with a showdown between the Minnesota Vikings and the Los Angeles Chargers at SoFi Stadium.

The spotlight then shifts to Sunday Night Football, where the Green Bay Packers will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers at Acrisure Stadium. The matchup features quarterback Aaron Rodgers facing the franchise where he built his legacy and delivered some of his best performances.

Now the starting quarterback for Pittsburgh, Rodgers insists there are no hard feelings toward the Packers, the team he left in 2023 before a brief stint with the New York Jets.

“This isn’t a revenge game for me, I’m just excited”

“I don’t have any hard feelings toward the organization,” Rodgers said. “Obviously, I wish things had gone better in our last year together, but I have great relationships with many people still there. This isn’t a revenge game for me. I’m just excited to see some familiar faces and be back on Sunday Night Football.”

Rodgers spent 18 seasons with Green Bay after being selected 24th overall in the 2005 NFL Draft. He waited patiently behind Brett Favre before taking over as starter and leading the Packers to a Super Bowl XLV championship, earning the Vince Lombardi Trophy.
