Hundreds of top-ranking U.S. generals have travelled to Washington for the meeting Pete Hegseth called. Here’s what Hegseth said.

This is what Pete Hegseth is telling generals in Quantico today: “Welcome to the War Department”

Hegseth called over 800 generals and admirals to Quantico to tell them to get in shape and get their troops in shape.
No more walking on eggshells policy
The Secretary of War says the Defense Department became the ‘woke’ department. He is telling the military leaders at Quantico to be ready for war and stop acting like civilians.
He has also announced keyboard complaing is over. “Anonymous social media accounts must not be tolerated,” he said.
“Basic training is being restored to what it used to be: tough and scary,” Hegseth said. “Back to basics at basic training.”
Hegseth: "When it comes to any job that requires physical power to perform in combat, those standards must be high and gender neutral. If women can make it, excellent. If not, it is what it is. If that means no women for some combat jobs, so be it." pic.twitter.com/jw1EQ61vkU

“Commanders and NCOs have to look in the mirror and pass the golden rule test.”
The Pentagon is is “ending the war on warriors,” he said. Hegseth went on to blame “foolish and reckless politicians” for focusing on “the wrong things.”
🚨 LMAO! Pete Hegseth is going OFF in Quantico to all the top generals.

It seems like it’s a meeting that could have been an email. Hegseth has basically ordered over 800 generals and admirals to meet in Quantico to tell them to get the troops in shape and to shave and cut their hair.
He wants the U.S. military leadership to improve physical fitness among the troops. Goodbye to beards and long hair. Officers will also be required to pass physical fitness tests twice a year.
Hegseth says it's tiring to look at combat formations and see "fat troops" and it's "completely unacceptable to see fat generals and admirals in the halls of the Pentagon," calling it a "bad look."

Hegseth has also addressed the firings he has carried out. “We all serve at the pleasure of the president every single day,” he said. Some generals may disagree with this statement.
I am simply posting this here for the approximately 800 generals who are going to meet with Trump. Please Retweet pic.twitter.com/4Gkxl5c5hL

This meeting comes at a difficult time for Hegseth as reports from inside the Department of War have been leaked about his erratic behavior. One source told the Daily Mail that he looks like he is “crawling out of his skin.” Reports claim he has been very nervous about his personal security after the Charlie Kirk assassination.
Staffers claim Pete Hegseth is crumbling under the pressure and his mental state has reached new, frenzied heights after the assassination of Charlie Kirk.

Hegseth is being described by staffers as “manic,” with fits of rage and tumultuous tirades. https://t.co/OR675xF0NI
There will be brushback by the generals and admirals after listening to this pep talk and learning that they have to get in shape. We can expect many of the country’s top leaders to resign and others to be fired.
