Trump’s UN speech sends shockwaves: Here’s who he called out on the global stage
Donald Trump addressed the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday and criticized European allies over green energy, immigration and other issues.

As the current President of the United States, Donald Trump addressed the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).
“Around the world, we see countries acting as if the rules don’t apply to them.“@antonioguterres warns that impunity has spawned some of the most atrocious conflicts of our times.

His speech was a wide-ranging critique of the UN itself describing it as an ineffective organization that is not living up to its potential. He claimed that it had not provided assistance in ending several wars he said his administration had resolved.
Trump also criticized other world leaders and nations on several key issues:

European nations: He accused European leaders of “destroying their heritage” through what he called a “failed experiment of open borders” and for allowing international migration due to “political correctness.” He also criticized them for not completely cutting off the purchase of Russian energy despite the war in Ukraine.
China and India: He accused both countries of “funding” the war in Ukraine by continuing to buy Russian oil.
Climate Change and Green Energy: He called climate change a “con job” and a “hoax” and ridiculed policies promoting renewable energy, which he said were “destroying” a large part of the free world.
He urged nations to unite with one message to Hamas: “Release the hostages now” and referred to Iran as “the world’s number one sponsor of terror.”
