Too early to put up your Christmas tree? Experts and Xmas lovers debate when the perfect date is
Christmas is looming on the horizon but debate still rages as to when is the correct date to put up the tree.

With Halloween now out of the way, Christmas begins to loom on the horizon as the perennial debate emerges relating to the ‘correct’ time for Americans to put up their Christmas tree.
Many households opt for the weekend after Thanksgiving (Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend) or in the first week of December.
However, there is no single “correct” date, as it often comes down to personal or family tradition!
Here are a few popular options and traditions in the US:
The Day After Thanksgiving (Black Friday): This is one of the most popular times, as it traditionally kicks off the holiday shopping and decorating season.

The First Weekend of December: This is another very common choice to start the month with festive decorations.
The Start of Advent: For those who follow religious traditions, the Christmas tree may go up on the First Sunday of Advent, which is the fourth Sunday before Christmas. This date usually falls between late November and early December.
If You Use a Real Tree: Many advise waiting until early to mid-December so the tree stays fresh and needles don’t dry out before Christmas day.
Ultimately, you can put your tree up whenever it makes you and your family happiest!
