Pie at Taco Bell? Something you have to try and never expected from the Mexican fast food restaurant
The food chain has dropped a pie, in a completely unexpected move.

If you thought Taco Bell had exhausted every possible twist on tacos, burritos, and nachos, think again. The fast-food chain has entered unchartered territory with the launch of its Baja Blast Pie, a dessert that feels both out of place and on brand.
The pie takes the flavour of Mountain Dew’s popular Baja Blast drink and turns it into something completely different: a full-sized dessert with a bright blue filling and a crisp cracker base.
The new pie comes with a crunchy graham cracker crust, a smooth, tropical-lime filling, and a swirl of whipped cream on top. It’s sweet, tangy, and unmistakably Baja Blast in flavour.

Unlike Taco Bell’s usual items, the pie is designed for sharing. It’s sold as a whole, not by the slice, making it ideal for children’s parties in case they need some extra E numbers.
Of course, not everyone is convinced. Reactions online have ranged from excitement to mild horror. Some fans are calling it the next great fast-food invention, while others can’t get past the plastic-looking colour. Photos online have prompted plenty of jokes, but also a fair amount of curiosity. For Taco Bell, that reaction is exactly what they want: attention and engagement.
Fans of the fast-food chain are used to things like this strange pie cropping up on the menu: after all, it’s the same brand that brought us Doritos Locos Tacos and Mexican Pizzas; shock value is part of the company recipe.

Even after letting it sit out over an hour, you can see the texture stretches like Play-Doh. Not to mention it looks like a bright bar of soap with crust

Availability is somewhat exclusive: the pie is sold only as a whole item, not by the slice, and each location receives a very limited number of units. It is priced at US $19.99 in the United States and is already making rounds as a social media talking point. For those who miss out on the whole pie, there’s also an alternate version in select locations called the “Pie Chiller,” which mixes pie elements with vanilla ice cream.
