He goes to a McDonald’s in Barcelona and compares the food to back home: “The bacon is horrible”
A visit to a popular fast food restaurant in Spain where he tries everything.

The flood of food-related content on social media remains among the most devoured by millions worldwide, and watching creators weigh in on what they eat across every kind of restaurant seems to fascinate audiences. One of the standouts is Bilal Dawson, a Canadian who, in this case, has been traveling through Spain. While in Barcelona he stopped at a McDonald’s to share his thoughts.
The TikToker chose the popular fast-food chain during his stay in Barcelona to see whether what’s served there differs much from other countries. The first thing that struck him was the restaurant’s décor, and everything he ordered was something he’d never tried before. And the first thing he called out was the beer, saying he had never seen beer at McDonald’s until coming to Spain. His verdict? “Delicious,” he said as he sipped a Mahou.

A McDonald’s stop where not everything stands outNext up were the Deluxe fries, a staple in Spain, though he found them “dry.” It’s worth noting he tasted them without the usual Deluxe sauce that typically comes with them. After that came the McExtreme, a burger that didn’t win him over, especially because “the bacon is horrible.”
Dawson also tried the Quarter Pounder BBQ, a collaboration with the artist Emilia, and compared it to the previous burger. Thanks to ingredients like onions and pickles, he liked this one more. His favorites? The Camembert Bites and the Chicken Bites. His least favorite was the CBO burger.
