He can dish it out, but he can’t take it: Examples of Stephen Miller calling Democrats fascists

Stephen Miller says that calling him a fascist incites violence. The internet reminded him of his own prolific use of the term.

Update:

Political tensions have been growing in the US with both sides throwing around the word f-word freely. Not that one, the other one, fascist.

Stephen Miller appeared recently on Sean Hannity’s show to rail against Democrats saying that they are “openly” aiding violence with their rhetoric, especially calling him a “fascist.” The internet was quick to remind him of his own prolific use of the term when referencing Democrats.

Internet shows Miller is the pot calling the kettle fascist

Hannity had the White House deputy chief of staff on his show to respond to a social media post by California Governor Gavin Newsom’s press office, which has been trolling Republicans and especially President Trump, that said “STEPHEN MILLER IS A FASCIST!”

Hannity was trying to use it as an example of Democrats and people on the left using “dangerous” and “vile” rhetoric. He and Miller were trying to paint the picture that all political violence occurring in the United States is the result of radical left-wingers incited by Democrats.

However, the data show a starkly different story as a June 24 publication from the National Institute of Justice, that was recently erased from Department of Justice’s website, pointed out.

“Militant, nationalistic, white supremacist violent extremism, has increased in the United States. In fact, the number of far-right attacks continues to outpace all other types of terrorism and domestic violent extremism. Since 1990, far-right extremists have committed far more ideologically motivated homicides than far-left or radical Islamist extremists,” the report stated.

What did Miller say about using the word ‘fascist’

“You cannot convince me that this never ending nazi, fascist, racist refrain of theirs is not impacting, especially people on the edge,” Hannity said before giving the last word to Miller. In responding the White House deputy chief of staff said that “it is a message that [Gavin’s] team is sending to all the crazies and lunatics out there.”

“And we’re not going to absolve the Democrats of responsibility anymore,” he continued. “There’s a reason why all of these killers, all of these lunatics, all of these terrorists, adopt the same language. They say they’re trying to kill the fascists. They’re trying to stop the fascists.”

Unfortunately for Trump’s righthand man in the White House, he has run fast and loose with his usage of the term ‘fascist’ when referring to Democrats as well as calling the judges they have appointed ‘communist’ as several posts pointed out.

“This is deliberate. President Trump is saying that we as a nation are not going to tolerate any more. And the joint terrorism task force at the FBI is gonna find these terrorists, and we’re going to put them behind bars, Sean,” Miller said wrapping up his rant.

However, his words came back to haunt him there too, threatening to silence his opponents free speech because you find it offensive. “If the idea of free speech enrages you — the cornerstone of democratic self-government — than I regret to inform you that you are a fascist,” Miller posted back in April 2022.
