Got a sweet tooth? You’re going to love this ice cream that’s coming to the U.S. for the first time ever

The wait is over: America is about to get its first taste of Nutella Ice Cream. Ferrero is teaming up with Wells Enterprises, the century-old Iowa-based maker of Blue Bunny and Halo Top, to bring the new line of Nutella and Kinder Bueno frozen desserts to the U.S. this year. The products will make their debut at the NACS Show in Chicago (October 14–17), ahead of a December 2025 rollout to convenience stores and a nationwide launch in spring 2026. Get those spoons ready!

According to Wells, the partnership blends its ice cream expertise with “the global love of Nutella and Kinder Bueno,” creating what Chief Marketing Officer Isabella Chia called “a new premium space in frozen treats.” The company says the move is part of a push to “premiumize” the cone segment – where high-end options still make up less than 2% of the market – and to strengthen its foothold in the fast-growing premium pint category.

What is the Nutella and Kinder Bueno lineup?

The four options coming to a freezer near you soon are:

• Nutella Frozen Dairy Dessert Pint: Hazelnut and cocoa ice cream swirled with ribbons of Nutella.
• Kinder Bueno Frozen Pint: Hazelnut frozen dessert with chocolate swirls and crunchy bits.
• Nutella Ice Cream Cones: Smooth hazelnut ice cream topped with Nutella, in a crisp sugar cone.
• Kinder Bueno Frozen Cones: Wafer-style cones with creamy hazelnut filling and a chocolatey finish.

Early consumer testing has been overwhelmingly positive, with over 90% of participants saying the new Nutella products “fit the brand” and praising the Kinder Bueno frozen range for its “one-of-a-kind taste.”

Where can I find my Nutella and Kinder Bueno ice cream?

Convenience distributors will start receiving shipments on December 1, 2025, with broader retail availability expected in spring 2026.
