Calls for Epstein file release escalate: Marjorie Taylor Greene thinks her life may be at risk
MTG has posted an ominous message on social media calling for the release of the Jeffrey Epstein files once again saying “I am not suicidal.”

Members of Congress are pushing to have floor vote to release the Jeffrey Epstein files. The bipartisan effort is being driven by Representatives Thomas Massie, a Republican from Kentucky, and Ro Khanna, a Democrat from California.
They currently have all of the Democrats onboard along with four GOP House members who White House allies and top congressional Republicans are quietly trying to pressure to withdraw their names from the petition. Besides Massie, they include Lauren Boebert of Colorado, Nancy Mace of South Carolina, and Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia.
The latter posted an ominous message on social media this Saturday saying, “I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet.”
“If something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which foreign government or powerful people would take heinous actions to stop the information from coming out,” she added. “The People understand what I’m saying.”
I am not suicidal and one of the happiest healthiest people you will meet.

I have full faith in God and Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior. As a sinner, I am only saved through His grace and mercy.
With that said, if something happens to me, I ask you all to find out which… https://t.co/1HCbvUkTlX
MTG thinks her life may be at risk over push to release Epstein files
Greene in an earlier post stated that “the Epstein rape and pedophile network must be exposed... The obsession over the Epstein files and fighting about it should not be happening and needs to end.”
“My name is staying on the discharge petition and I will dive into the Oversight committee investigation just as I do with every investigation,” she promised. Minutes later she released her other statement alluding that something could happen to her “because of the truth that I have been speaking,” she said.
Epstein issue will not die for Trump
Epstein died in jail awaiting trial in 2019 in what was ruled to be a suicide. However, many have questioned that narrative and missteps by the Trump administration by releasing a security video from inside the jail of his cell door the night of his death, among other things, have only added fuel to the fire.
Donald Trump had vowed to release the files during the 2024 campaign and once in office, members of his administration made the same promise. But when the president was informed that his name was in the files, he began calling the whole affair “a hoax.”
Furthermore, the Department of Justice headed by his pick Attorney General Pam Bondi, who had previously said that she had Epstein’s client list “sitting on my desk,” released a memo in July stating it had found “no incriminating ‘client list’” for Epstein.
There is a strong belief among the public, including Epstein’s brother Mark, that the late financer accused of running one of the largest sex trafficking rings of minors was murdered. It’s believed that he was silenced to keep him from sharing the names of other powerful people involved in his crimes.
Those leading the petition to release the Epstein files are currently one vote short, which is expected to come when Democrat Adelita Grijalva takes her seat in Congress. She recently won a special election in Arizona and could be sworn in on 7 October when the House opens for session again.
