Glaser, the host of ‘Saturday Night Live’ on Nov. 8, says she spent an eye-watering sum on going to a large number of Eras Tour shows.

This is how much Nikki Glaser spent on attending 22 Taylor Swift concerts

Comedian Nikki Glaser, who is hosting Saturday Night Live this weekend, is a committed ‘Swiftie’. So much so that she says she paid “close to $100,000” to attend a number of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour shows.
“We’re including travel expenses, hotels...”
Glaser made the admission in an interview with People in December 2024, revealing that she spent the sizeable sum on going to 22 Eras concerts during the singer’s nearly two-year-long global tour.
“I want to be clear that we’re including travel expenses, hotels, and me also flying and putting up everyone that I would invite to go with me, plus tickets, plus merch,” the 41-year-old told People.
Glaser added: “I justify that cost because I don’t have kids, and it’s something that I consciously decided not to do, and it was something that I struggled with.
“It wasn’t the easiest decision. There was a part of me that was like, ‘I would like kids,’ but it just doesn’t fit in my life. And so in order for me to make myself feel better about the decision, I did look up how much it cost to raise a kid.
“And so once I saw that number, I thought, ‘It’s no problem for me to spend this on Taylor Swift.’”
Speaking to Variety in January, Glaser also revealed that her tally of Eras Tour concerts could have been even higher. “It was supposed to be 24, but the Vienna shows were canceled,” the Ohio native said.
In August 2024, Swift was forced to call off three scheduled performances in the Austrian capital, after authorities warned of a terrorist plot targeting the shows.
Will Glaser mention Swift while hosting SNL?
Given Glaser’s devotion to Swift, there have been suggestions that the comedian might find room in her SNL monologue.
Glaser’s meteoric rise to stardom
Glaser, whose star has risen in the wake of her stellar turn on Netflix’s The Roast of Tom Brady in spring 2024, not only hosted the Golden Globes; she was also on the list of awards nominees. She was up for Best Stand-up Comedy Performance, for her HBO special Nikki Glaser: Someday You’ll Die.
It was after attending an Eras Tour concert, in Vancouver in 2024, that Glaser learned of her Golden Globes nod.
“I found out about the nomination on the way to the airport after seeing Taylor Swift’s final show,” she has said, per E! News. “I can’t think of a better post-Eras tour hangover cure than a Golden Globe nomination. Now I have something new to live for!”
